Geolocation tools

Every place has a number.

Convert addresses to coordinates, coordinates back to addresses, work out the distance and bearing between two points, or convert a whole list at once.

Batch Convert

The tool most people land here for — paste a list of addresses, one per line, and convert all of them to coordinates in one go.

Need to go the other way, or just one address? See the other tools below.

Four tools

Each tool calls a live geocoding service, so results reflect current, real-world data rather than a static lookup table.

When these tools are actually useful

GeoPinPoint gets used in a handful of recurring situations: an online shop double-checking a customer's delivery address before a courier is booked, an estate agent or event organiser plotting a venue or viewing on a map, a logistics team working out whether a new customer falls inside a delivery radius, and anyone tidying up a spreadsheet of addresses that needs coordinates attached before it can be mapped or analysed.

Single lookups vs. batch jobs

For a single address or a one-off comparison, Address → Coordinates, Coordinates → Address and Distance & Bearing each return a result in a few seconds. Once you're past two or three lookups — a customer list, a set of branch addresses, a delivery round — Batch Convert is the faster route: paste the whole list once and export the results as a spreadsheet, rather than repeating the same single lookup by hand.
